Hi, everybody,

Back from the hospital... Was there for about 15 hrs. Went to see husband before surgery but he was so drugged that he just fell asleep-they had to wake hin up to put him on the strecther to go down to OR. waited for long 6 hrs, the surgeon came by, said that evrything is well, waited another hours, got news that he is bleeding excessively, they took hin back to OR, opened him up-it was a wire from the chest wound digging into the chest wall-fixed that-back to recovery room-blood pressure was really low-lungs failing heart nor working-they gave him more drugs, bagged him and did other horrible-sounding things-he woke uo, did what the doctor wanted him to do.

Sorry for the weird writing-super tired and confused.

Post again tomorrow

Natalia

I'm sorry you had such a long rough day. I'm so thankful they were able to find the problem quickly and help him. It must have been very tough on you though. I know it will be hard, but please try to get some sleep tonight . Thank you for taking the time to update us with so much going on

My first night post op I remember waking up with blood oozing from my incision and running down my side....the nurse freaked out a bit, but within a short time the bleeding was under control and it never happened again. You and Eric are in my thoughts, best wishes. :)

Natalia I am sorry to hear about the problems Eric had, but am glad to hear things are under control. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers and hope his continued recovery will be easier. Pat

I hope you are getting some rest. Almost everyone has some bumps on the road to recovery. I hope this early one, which Eric may not even be aware of, is the last or at least worst, and he improves from this point.
