My friends little girl

Thought you all might appreciate an update on Lucy, my friends little girl who we were hoping to get to the US for treatment. You were all so kind with helping us with information for her. It was all followed up and we did have some positive feedback from them.
However, since then, Lucy has been to Great Ormond Street hospital in London and they feel heart transplant is her only option, wherever in the world she may travel. And it needs to be done very soon before she deteriorates further.
So she is about to be listed for a new heart. She will go in for 3 days of assessments on Monday and will probably be listed straight after that with the hopes of a new heart as soon as possible.
Bev, her mum is understandably terrified at the moment and I just feel so helpless as all I can do is listen and support Bev as much as I can. Lucy is scared of surgery again but looking forward to the idea that she may be able to go on a bouncy castle afterwards when shes healthy, as shes never been able to go on one before!

Thought I would update you and will do so next week when we find out more.

Oh Heavens....not another little one......Please don't feel like your helpless Emma, as you are helping immensly by supporting Little Lucy and her mom Bev just by listening and caring, and I am sure that they both know that a big hug from you goes along way....Please know your all in my heart and prayers during this horrible time.....Blessings to you all...Harrybaby
