Having "given birth" in two ways -- one biological and one adopted -- the "labor pains" for the adopted daughter were MUCH worse than the labor pains for the bio child. The waiting (labor pains) for the adopted child to arrive was long and the uncertainty of when she would arrive, made for severe "labor pains".
Bonnie, I hope your daughter has tons of photos for you. She/husband must be totally exhausted. That is a lot of travel in a short period of time.
