Adding our wishes!!

Adding our wishes!!

We are sending best wishes and prayers. Honestly- you'll be surprised at how quickly the time passes, and this will be history- stories to tell. I'm happily scrapbooking the experience now, and I will welcome you to this side of the fence!!!

Chris. Expecting nothing but the best for you!! Of course, if you want to come up with a theme song for us, we won't mind.... like...... "I've got the cardiac ward blues....... no shower for me....... they're tryin' to make me into a pin cushion ...... and not gettin' my internet through...... :D Hm. Maybe you don't do lyrics! :p :p

Seriously, though. My best thoughts are with you!!! I'll be waiting to hear of your journey. Go with peace in your heart. :)

Marguerite

Thanks Marguerite, Magnus, MtBiker, Sherry & everyone else:

Had my pre-op today and they were very nice & professional. Place is clean, seem like they know exactly what they're doing. Surgeon had a good demeanor and seemed very smart (I was told he's the best there.) All that being said, I'm scared and want NO part of this, but I know it HAS to occur. I was ok until they gave us a tour of the place (again it's VERY nice) but it's busy, lots of patients. That's to be expected but there was something about seeing patients lying there, unconcious, on their vents, that just unnerved me. It'll pass, when they give me the happy gas.

Ooh, there's a good idea for a lyric! "It'll pass...when they give me....etc."

*sighs*; no, I don't normally do lyrics. I'll leave that up to you, Marguerite.

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words & support. I'll see you all on the other side....

Chris

Here's hoping that a sense of serenity comes over you when you enter the hospital doors tomorrow- many here have experienced that and remember. we are all there with you and I hope you can feel our presence. Will be thinking of you, Chris and wish you the best. You will be describing your "boring" recovery before you know it!:D

Praying for you to be calm when you walk in there tomorrow.. I know when I walked into the hospital I could not believe how calm I felt.. very weird..

I am surprised that you got a tour? that would have made me a bit nervous too..but never fear you won't remember any of that and will be back here to report in no time!!

Have a good night sleep..if that is possible.. and see you on this side of our mountain!
