Lack of Results

Lack of Results

I still have heard nothing. Test Monday and today is Thursday. However I am relying on no news being good news. I have a call in for the head Pacemaker nurse to let me know what she can. The tester said it does help to know which valve and its size. She showed me the valve and the pacemaker wires. She also said she was not allowed to read or comment on the results. They did have to switch to a stronger machine because there was "too much noise from somewhere". She did also say that if it is really bad, they call in the doctor then - before you leave. They didn't.

To the post above, I can only answer with my experiences, but I had a very loud murmur before surgery and now have none. On the echos there is just a tiny pinpoint of turbulence. My cardio says that is where there is a stitch. I had a homograft at CCF in 2000.

Echo Report

Echo Report

Call from the test tech. that Dr D says everything is OK. AV is fine. No noteworthy problems noted. Slight MV leak. Said to enjoy trip to beach.
Thus my greatest danger will be driving hazzards

Glad for your good results.

But I gotta tell ya. From my experience "NO news is just NO NEWS". I had an echo in Feb. and did not get any results and thought "no news was good news". Lots of other things interviened like skin cancer surgery, that held my attention for a while. But, when I finally called requesting written reports, especially of the echo, it turned out that the report was sent to the wrong doc and when it was returned no one called me to find out what doc should get the report of that little $1,015.00 test. It, by the way, had me down to .7 cm sq (severe range) and a month after I got that result I demanded another and it was down to .61 cm sq.

So, never again will I think anything other than "NO News is NO NEWS" period.

Glad you went after your results and they were positive.

I have another little problem along those lines. My cardio office will give out results to anyone that answers my phone and claims to be me. But, to get a written copy I must sign an affidavit and have it witnessed allowing release to "myself" as the form states.
How about them apples. Just silly.

Sorry for horning in on your thread with such trivia.

Best wishes
