It's 6 a.m. now, but I got up at 430.

Happy shopping - all that last minute stuff is fun.

I love to go Christmas Eve day just to see the people in the stores. That's when you see the merriest shoppers (and the grumpiest).

I don't think I have ever seen that time of morning. <gg>

Everyone should get up early at least once to see the glorious sun coming up. I did this once by accident as a young woman. The children and husband were sleeping, I couldn't so I made a cup of tea, sat down and voila, the sun was peeking over the horizon. It was the most beautiful sight. Didn't do it again for a long time, but it is a regular thing these days. My daughter also rises early. We live in the country in the woods and the early morning is so peaceful. In the distance a few cars pass and we see their lights, and occasionally an early morning train.

Our first member from across the pond was Billy. He would have to stay up late to chat, eventually others came from other countries like Scotland and Australia and they, too, would stay up late to chat. We had a bit of confusion about the time differences for awhile, but finally got it straight.

I am one of the hidden members.:D But, I, too, get up early...Around 5 A.M...Yes, it's great...:D Make my coffee, let Rufus outside..(he hates using the litter box)Feed Miss K.C. (age 13)..and go and turn on local news from Atlanta. I can see the traffic jams, ect...Daughter calls every a.m. at 7:30 on her way from leaving children at Daycare..driving into Atlanta. so, we chat..the only time we can do it without kids ..:D .... I then tune into Fox News..See the national news, ect...take my shower, dress and take coffee to Hubby in bed. at 9 A.M. every A.M..He is NOT a morning person..but a late person..:p So, we reverse..he takes dog out for late walk, shuts off lights, ect...I think that is why we will celebrate 40 years of marriage next year.:D I think it was Winston Churchill..that said, the secret of a long marriage. NEVER eat breakfast together.:D I also..love watching the many birds, critters, ect. in my front yard at sunrise.Scurring around eating at birdfeeder.... Plus, what does one do at OUR age ..after 9 P.M.:D ..Bonnie
