Oy, had another fire, did more running.... My car, my jacket, and the brand new Buffalo Sabres sweatshirt I got all reek of smoke...
While the fire is one thing, the cool thing about today was spending the afternoon outside with my 4 year old son.
We had our first really nice day since winter set in, 60º+ with lots of sun and blue sky for most of the afternoon.
Patrick and I were out etting rides in his Little Tykes car (I pushed mostly) then he wanted to bring out my skateboard so we rode that up the street (18 houses on a dead end street, about 1/8th of a mile) and back.
I got on my board and skated around a little bit which I haven't done in a LONG time, felt good. No tricks though, I don't have my ramp anymore... =(
He doesn't get it, just a little kid out playing with his daddy on a nice afternoon. A year ago I was in a coma, near death....
