Mom's turn tomorrow

I am nine years post op, AVR and aorta replacement so I still remember the the ordeal. My mother is scheduled for a quad bypass and avr at 1.30 pm Monday. She will be 86 years old in May of this year. Hope all goes well...Miles

Miles I hope everything goes well with your mom and wishing her well!! I'm going thru the samething that you had.Vavle and ascending aorta replacement.I notice your nine years post-op and in construction.What kind of restrictions did your doctor place on you after your operation???

No driving, or lifting for six weeks..I returned to work after nine weeks to no restrictions other than common sense really. I hope that helps..Miles
