Mind if I brag a bit?

This past Wednesday, the 25th, my son "graduated" from sixth grade. He has not missed a single day of school since he started kindergarden!!! That makes seven years of perfect attendance!!! My wife and I are so proud of him.
In April of 2002, he had a terrible bike accident. Broke his wrist in 3 places, did a number on his face, and broke some teeth. (He was wearing a helmet, thank God, and it cracked. That's how hard he hit the sidewalk) As he laid on a stretcher in the emergency room, his only worry was if he would be able to go to school the next day. Sure enough, he did!!!
Well, sorry for being long-winded. Just wanted to share the news with my VR friends. Tim

That's great Tim. Give the guy a special Congratulations for me. It's a lot to say when he hasn't missed a day in all those years. You certainly don't see that happen very much, in fact, I've only seen maybe 3 other people in the last 20 years.

Go ahead and brag, I think you have a perfectly good reason too!

Congratulations to both of you! That perfect attendance shows not only good health but a real determination to work through obstacles. That is probably a trait he will carry through life. He must have pretty good parents .
