TIM W.

This past Wednesday, the 25th, my son "graduated" from sixth grade. He has not missed a single day of school since he started kindergarden!!! That makes seven years of perfect attendance!!! My wife and I are so proud of him.
In April of 2002, he had a terrible bike accident. Broke his wrist in 3 places, did a number on his face, and broke some teeth. (He was wearing a helmet, thank God, and it cracked. That's how hard he hit the sidewalk) As he laid on a stretcher in the emergency room, his only worry was if he would be able to go to school the next day. Sure enough, he did!!!
Well, sorry for being long-winded. Just wanted to share the news with my VR friends. Tim

That's great Tim. Give the guy a special Congratulations for me. It's a lot to say when he hasn't missed a day in all those years. You certainly don't see that happen very much, in fact, I've only seen maybe 3 other people in the last 20 years.

Go ahead and brag, I think you have a perfectly good reason too! :)

Hey Tim,
That is Great, have him keep up the good work. There are not many kids that can do that or want to. Congratulations.

Dave

Congratulations to both of you! That perfect attendance shows not only good health but a real determination to work through obstacles. That is probably a trait he will carry through life. He must have pretty good parents:) .

Your son is special and to be congratulated!
Best of luck to him in Jr High, where the tough stuff really starts!
