Thank you very much for all your support. This site has been such a blessing. I've gotten so much usefull information I would never have been able to get anywhere else. I'm very thankfull for it, I plan on contributing a lot after my surgery to try and help others in my position. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers. I'm going to ask my wife to make a quick post to let you all know how things went, not sure how soon she'll be able to but should be sometime this weekend.

Paul - Good luck with your surgery. I also went on a Friday. I didn't enjoy the weekend, but after that it was uphill quickly. I had a bunch of easy tasks and hobby stuff planned for after my arrival home. I did enjoy the time off from work to a certain extent.
