While I have a tissue valve and are not anti coagulated this doesn't mean it can be determined from examination.

And if they're so hopeless that they can't figure out I'm on warfarin

I wouldn't be so certain of this, I like medical students and interns examining me just to have a laugh at their lack of knowledge, I have had a number of them say I have a very quite mechanical valve based just on my age and that at 47 the time of implant it would be expected to be mechanical. This to me shows nothing should be assumed.

I use the dog tag version. I also list the other things such as blood type and type of valve. It could save your life.
