I was kidding - cheesecloth is the loosest knit available - it's used to strain the solids from the liquids when making cheese. There's NO WAY to make this suitable for a mask, unless, perhaps, you make a 6" thick, multi-layered 'pad' out of it. Still, I suspect that viruses could probably still make their way through.
 
Only if the cheesecloth is impregnated with Limburger cheese to help with that social distancing zone.
Limburger cheese? It may keep people six feet away from coming anywhere NEAR me - but, at mm from my nose and mouth, I'd probably pass out before I reached the door.

In keeping with your suggestion - perhaps I can rub raw garlic all over the mask -- not only will it probably kill the virus on the way in and out, it'll also protect me from vampires.
