Since Melissa "outted" me regarding my recent marriage to Wayne, I am going to have Ross post a photo for me as I don't know how to do it!! It will be forthcoming.
Yes, Wayne and I were married on October 15, in a very small, private ceremony at the Healy House (an historic clapboard home) in Leadville, Colorado. We had a couple of friends stand up with us and were married by a JOP in Leadville who also does the Halloween cemetery tours there (he was a great addition to the ceremony)! It was a special, beautiful, wonderful, blessed day all around. We had a Victorian theme for the wedding - it was so lovely.
Wayne and I have been together for seven years and he never once wandered from my side during my heart surgery two years ago. I guess if we got through that we can get through anything!!
Wayne and I will be having a wedding reception in late January here in our home and you all on VR.com are getting an early invitation to attend! Even you Ross - just don't flirt with me in front of Wayne - he's a mean, jealous guy! NOT!!!
I feel so lucky and blessed to have had this chance to marry for the first time (Wayne's second), even though Wayne and I are in the "Indian summer" of our lives. God is good, life is precious and I hope that Wayne and I will look back after many, many years of married life and smile with gratitude and happiness.
