Thank you, Paul, for posting. It's really good to hear that things have been moving along for her.
If the pain meds are knocking her out, there are several options that might be less soporific without being less effective. At the high end, there's Fentanyl, which is equivalent to morphine in strength, in the next tier down, there's tramadol, which is similar to percocet. Some get by with much less, but it's not smart to have pain. It interferes with the healing process.
