I am happy to write a short, boring report.

Marguerite left ICU yesterday, only 28 hrs. after surgery. she's now in a regular room within the cardiac ward of the hospital. all vital signs continue to be very strong.

yesterday there were only a few minor issues with blood pressure, which were corrected by changes in meds.

currently she's zonked out, zoned out on pain meds.

needless to say, we're thrilled and feel most fortunate and grateful.

Marguerite sends her best to all of you!

Paul

Thanks for the update...Soon, it will be time for her to start walking the halls..Helps get those nasty drugs out of her ..:p Pain meds are good...:D Tell her keep up the good recovery...Hope she will be able to come home soon. Bonnie

Glad to hear things are boring for all of you. I know how worried she was about the surgery. We all felt the same way before ours. Hope each day is easier than the one before and she is home recouperating soon.

zoned out is good for now. Tell her to just stay that way for a day or so and walk the halls in zombie state. She can come back to the real world when she isn't in pain and feels better. It just ain't going nowhere and leave her behind. We send gentle hugs, as Mr Ross says.

Thanks for the report! Boring IS good. So nice to hear she is doing well. I'm sure she'll be roaming the halls soon.

Fantastic news!

Fantastic news!

Most welcome post today. Sending prayers for a speedy recovery. Hugs. J.

Marguerite is continuing to show excellent progress in her recovery from the surgery. Yesterday, which was only the 2nd day after the operation, she was sitting up in a chair, eating her meals. And she was able to get up and take a few short spins around the hallways. Those short walks wore her out a bit, of course.

During the afternoon, the surgeon paid her a visit as he made his rounds. After her listening to her with his stethascope, he remarked that her heart sounded really good.

All in all, things are looking quite good. Thanks, again, to all of you for your thoughts and prayers.

Hopefully, the next post you get will actually be from Marguerite.

Paul,
I can't wait to hear Marguerite's first hand account! I assume that they intend to release her tomorrow? I sure hope so . . .there's no place like home!:)

Thanks for the progress reports. We will pray that things continue to be boring as that will make things speed her towards home.
Please give her hugs and good wishes. Remember to take care of yourself too.
