Thank you Janet. I know Katie is going to love you incredibly for helping her through this. As a teenager she'll dislike you for a lot of things (especially if her spunkyness continues ) but I guarantee you she'll never have anything but gratitude for you being the wonderful Mom that you are.

Happy anniversary, Karlynn!!

It is so awesome to think of a 13 year anniversary! It has been two weeks and one day since Jeff's surgery and it seems like it has been so long ago, but also like it was yesturday. I loved your post. It was so much like what I have been thinking about since we first found out about Jeff's need for surgery. This year Thanksgiving and Christmas are going to be so special. You truely don't realize how precious things are until you are forced to deal with the possibility of having them taking away. Everyone here is such an inspiration. I don't know how I would have gotten through everything without the help of this wonderful forum!! Here is to many, many more years!!
