Low blood pressure..worried!

Hi,

I went for my pre-op day before yseterday and had low blood pressure then, it was 99/47. I wasnt feeling symptoms but nw that I know about it I am feeling a little week and my heart beats fast at times. Had some water with salt. Does this happen, is ther anything to worry about. Can I do something about it? Please help.

Are you feeling weak or is light bothering your vision? If yes to either of these, go to the ER and get checked. It's possible that you have an internal bleed going. Better to be safe then stupid like I was last August.

I am feeling weak but light is nt bothering my vision. I had a cup of coffee in the evening and feeling better nw.

It might simply be presurgery jitters. I think we can all relate to those feelings.

Maybe you're just in good health and lucky. Most of us have spikes in BP when we go to the doctor!
