This is not heart related, except that my heart is breaking. My best friend was killed in a car crash Friday morning, she died instantly. I only found out yesterday, I was trying to get the address of where we were to meet and her husband answered the phone. He said he would have called me Friday, but he couldn't find my number. I suppose it was on her phone, and no one can find that. I feel numb.

I am so sorry to hear that. Of course your heart is breaking... I will send prayers your way. Just remember to take care of yourself.

I'm so sorry to hear that your friend had to go like that. Death's hard to take but when we simply aren't expecting it, it's even worse. In 1988 I was woken up on a Sunday morning with the news that one of my friends had been killed by her ex-husband and until today I haven't fully come to terms with that. I want you to know that I'll keep you all in my prayers.

Of course there are no words to express how sad this is but I will be bringing you before thr throne of God asking for his strength and presence.

Hello Cloud. I am so very sorry for your loss. Perhaps today you are better. Probably, though, you are worse. I lost my first best friend (of over 40 years) to suicide several years ago. I have never ached so. It is truly something that breaks your heart. It will only get better when it gets better, and you will be reminded forever of her. BUT, for now, you must make it. You must be there for those who have become even closer to her than you were. They will need your strength and you do have it inside you to give. It should help you some to be needed. Be available.
