A spring reunion really sounds good. I teach science, so I hope I can put an extra day on the week-end, and call it a professional development day.

Madeline was put on a ventilator overnight, so I'm headed back to Carbondale in a little bit. I hope this is just a temporary setback.

jWhat great news that your sister and niece are ok! Hopefully she won't be on that ventilator too long. It's amazing the things doctors can do to help newborns!! My son had problems at birth and wasn't expected to live but thank GOD he made it and will be turning nine this June! They may be small but babies can be pretty tough! I will keep you all in my prayers. Looking forward to seeing a picture!!

I want to let everyone know that Annie was released from the hospital today. She continues to have high spikes in her blood pressure, but they have her on meds to control it.
Baby Madeline is temporarily off the ventilator! They're making no promises that she won't have to go back on, but today she is only under a hood delivering the oxygen she needs. Annie was able to change her diaper, and she was so excited!
I thank you so much for all the prayers and good wishes. You have been my lifeline through many things this year.
