Lets Step Up The Prayers A Bit

I don't know that Mary wanted this posted or not, but I've been asked to post it and feel that it should be concerning Mary's sister. I think it's time to kick it up a notch with the prayers for her and the baby.

This will be very quick. The latest tests came back on Annie this morning, and the doctor is going to take the baby either tonight or early, early tomorrow. He is afraid to wait any longer; she is now in respiratory distress. She picked up four pounds of fluid just laying in the hospital bed overnight and is having difficulty breathing. The kidney function test is also showing that her kidney's are beginning to shut down.

We are getting ready to leave to go over. I will see what I think, and then stay if I need to or return and go back tomorrow. I will know what I should do when I see her.

She is being a real trooper. I can't imagine being in her place; having my first baby without my mom, and with the knowledge that my life and the baby's were in danger.

That's it for now. I wanted someone to know in case I'm off the computer for a day or so.

For those that have not been following Mary's thread on her sister Annie..Annie is age 40 and her 1st baby........ Mary is one of our MOST active members..posting, even tho she has not had VR.surgery...And, she is on Sunday night chats..on VR.Com...Mary also teaches the 5th grade..so, lots of stress right now in her life.. Keep the prayers going for HER..Bonnie

I am the proud aunt of 2 lb.4oz. Madeline Kimmel Kaylor born by C-section at 5:32 pm.
Initially she looked good, but when we left the hospital she was having difficulty breathing. C-PAP was on, but no ventilator yet. That's good.

Annie is quickly recovering. Her blood pressure is still high, but they expect her to be considered "only a C-Section" by tomorrow night. She's still at risk, but that should turn around.

I am so glad this hurdle is over! I give full credit to the prayers and good thoughts that have come our way from everyone on the site. There's still a ways to go, but with the support we've had, I'm sure we'll make it.
