Last Post before the big day!

Thank you all for all of the help and support I have received since the short time I have been part of this board. I know I have done a lot more reading than posting, but I feel like I know you all! I am Dr. Petracek's first case Monday and he said we should be all through by 1:00. I went yesterday to do all the pre-tests and admitting paperwork. It took 3 and 1/2 hours, but they went over every detail of what to expect. I am very impressed with the hospital (St. Thomas, Nashville) and all the staff I have met. I feel like I am in the best hands possible in this area.
I may have time to jump online sometime tomorrow, but wanted to go ahead and post now just in case. It will be a busy day getting ready!

Hey, I am still in the Waiting Room. Funny, isn't it? I'd rather be where you are right now! I am like you. I have been doing mostly reading and not much posting. All I know is that this place and the people have added more support than I would think possible. Hope all goes perfectly tomorrow. Hi, Tammy...... All the very best wishes to you. I just had AVR surgery 7/21/2005 and am doing pretty good. The worst part of the whole thing was the wait!!!!! Once it is behind you , you will be able to get on with your life. Let us know how you are!!!!!
