WHY did your Cardiologist tell you to DOUBLE DOSE for TWO DAYS?

Personally, I would not be comfortable with that recommendation. What is his Purpose and what is his Reasoning ???

Hang on a minute with those holistic treatments, check it isn't something which might mess with your INR?

You really need to know the type of stone you have, calcium based stones, struvite stones, uric acid stones, or cystine stones. They are caused by different things so you can adjust your diet according to the type. Mine are uric acid and really I ought to cut back on the amount of meat that I eat.

Now I am a believer of herbal/holistic treatments for certain problems,and some of these herbal treatments can be helpful if you have granules,or stones not much larger than a granule. Some herbs can also prevent the formation of stones(certain types), BUT if you have a moderate sized stone some of these treatments are useless. Is it a something like a 5-7 day plan?
And what herbs are they prescribing? (if any) ..Uva Ursi, Gravel Root, Golden Rod, Hydrangea, can be common and these are pretty well tolerated,but
I don't know about the effect on INR.
