Kfay, I had Ablation done 2007 to treat PSVT. It is nothing to be scared about. It is like an Angiogram in stereo (they go in - both sides) and you'll be asleep during the whole process! They may keep you half sedated during the "Mapping" stage, but you'll enjoy a nice 3-4 hour nap and when you wake up - just a bit of discomfort in your groins.

I pray that they solve the problem and that your EP Specialist do a good job.

Thinking of you

Thinking of you

Kfay, best wishes for a successful procedure! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

Nadine:)

Hope you get the answers your looking for. May the procedure be a successful one. You are in my thoughts and prayers Kimmie. Will be waiting to hear about the good results. :)

Thank you all. We got here late last night. Have already had all my pre-testing stuff done and am ready to go tomorrow. We had the same discussions about how I would be drug free and what would happen if they have to go through the patch...all stuff I don't care to talk about again.

A bright spot was that I was able to go and visit my friend Joyce who is still here following her surgery last week. She had been released from the hospital on Tues., however, she developed a pretty good fever yesterday and they readmitted her this morning. It was finally nice to actually meet another person with Ebstein's.

I'll be in touch tomorrow evening.

Kim

As I said in the other thread, I'm praying that this is the one that gets it done. I know it's no fun and you certainly don't need anymore toying with the heart. Prayers with you as always. :)
