Good evening everybody!
Kenny's surgery went really well! Started appx. 8:30 and was over by 1:30. Did do homograft. Kenny's doctor said his valve was at "critical stenosis" point and he's glad Kenny decided to go ahead now, could have gotten ugly- quickly.

I will be glad to write more tomorrow when I have more facts.

The important thing is that Kenny was talking (off tube at 4:30!) at our last visit (9:00), trying to cough - using his "heart" pillow, and his color was good - no swelling yet.

Will tell more tomorrow.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!!!!
Diana

WONDERFUL! Thanks Diana for the good news. I was hoping to see something before I called it a night.

Take care of yourself now and get a litle rest.

Thanks Diana, for keeping us up to date on Kenny. Glad to hear everything is going Good. Tell Kenny he is still in my thoughts and prayers.
Take Care

Dave

I am sitting here with a giant smile on my face and in my heart. When Kenny gets around to reading this it will remind him that he has got to be feeling well enough by the 5th of Dec to keep up his part of the bargain, because I kept mine. Congratulations and best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Hi Diana

I'm on my way out the door to work, but just logged on to see how Kenny was doing. PLEASE give him our best....I'm so happy for the two of you.

Please tell him for me: Guess he didn't "DUCK THE TRUCK!!"

Again, our best to Kenny.

Hi Diana,

Thanks so much for letting us know how Kenny is doing. Every one of us who does so well just gives the folks in The Waiting Room so much more courage to be ready to travel up that mountain.

Maybe we should put a little message board in The Waiting Room so we know how everyone does. . .

Glad to hear that Kenny is doing well!:)
We will be looking forward to more details later on.
Give Kenny my best wishes!

Thanks, Diana

Thanks, Diana

We really appreciate all you significant others who bother to log on and let us know how one of ours has done. I know this was a long and hard day for you, Diana, and it's really above and beyond to think of us when I'm sure you just wanted to get to bed.

And we're thrilled for Kenny. It's terrific to have this over and be able to move on.

You take care of yourself, Diana, because you're going to be kept hoppin' for the first couple of weeks at home. So get your sleep and eat well, etc., while Kenny's in the hospital.

Congrats.
