Hey Karlynn, in another thread you mentioned that brownies are your downfall, so here's a recipe for brownies made over into a much healthier version. Hope you like it!

Hey thanks for the receipe. My husband the brownie monster would probably love these and the carbs. don't seem so high so I think I will give them a test run.

They are so quick and easy to make! My 11yo son makes them on his own, no help from me.
When you eat a large piece you don't feel that "sick" feeling that you can sometimes get after overindulging in very rich desserts

Many muffin recipes can also use apple sauce instead of the fat laden oil.

I personally use apple sauce instead of margarine or oil in my muffins...it provides the moisture without the fat!

Another good trick is to use a box of devils food cake mix and one 15 oz can of pumpkin,,thats all,no water. It will be very stiff so you have to mix and mix. Bake according to directions and you have the most delicious brownies. You can use any cake mix with the pumpkin. I have also tried the spice cake mix along with the low sugar icing. yummmo!

Some people use the chocolate cake mix and low fat mayonnaise. Wierd, but it's good too.

I have been starving for days now,trying to get rid of some fluid and eating better.. I need fried chicken and taters!!! Not sure about the mayo,Bina. At least the pumpkin is healthy so you can justify eating the cake.
