hi everyone,,i went into surgery monday 3/3/08 and walked back in my house sunday 3/9/08,,so it took a good 6 days in the hospital,,the review i got from the surgeon after it was completed was that they were able to repair (not replace) my mitral valve and they did a triple bypass while they were in their which he had previously stated that if he seen anything that looked to require attention now or possibly at a later date they would do it now than later...i made it thru surgery without complications and hope to continue post op wothout complications..thanks to all of you...i had about a month to get my act together before this surgery and you guys helped me prepare for it in alot of ways..for instance..what questions to ask you surgeon during preop consultation,,qualifications and solection of a surgeon,,hospital solection,,etc etc etc..thank you all for your thoughts and prayers..you guys really need to pat yourself on the back because you are really helping alot of people..if i can now assisist or help anyone with their quetions or fears about bypass or mitral valve surgery you can e-mail me at [email protected]s all of you...bye for now
