I just spoke to Jim's wife Carol. Jim had his Ross procedure today. He had one glitch - a leak - that sent him back to OR to repair it. He's now in ICU and doing fine. Carol was in very good spirits.

I'll update you tomorrow sometime.

I hope that's the only set back. I get so worried when they do these. Thanks for the update.

I'm glad Jim's wife is feeling positive. That's a good sign.

Ross - have we heard from Soccermom44 yet about her Mom?

Thank you Tom for letting us know.

Congratulations, chilihead on having this "in the past".

May the rest of your recovery go smoothly.

I am really pleased that your surgery is over. I am still waiting to find out what is going to happen to me! I take great strength from people like yourself and Kenny along with all the helpful reponses you get from the "older" (experienced) members. I hope our recovery is smooth and uneventful.

Thanks Tom for the report on Chilihead. Glad to hear surgery is behind him now and he is on the mend. I know he will be relieved when this is further behind him and he is home again with his family.

Thanks for the update. Our prayers our with Chilihead and his family. May the rest of his recovery be uneventful.

Thank you, Tom

Two more successful surgeries!!! Chili and Kenny this week. You're right, Rossman, glitches scare me a bit, but thank God he's ok. Would like to hear about soccermom, too.

Tom:

This is great news. I'm on vacation this week and my parents live right up the road from Presbyterian, so I was at the hospital early Tuesday. Was there about 7:30-10:30 a.m. with Jim's wife, Carol. Had a great time visiting with her, her mom, Jim's brother and several others. Carol said he'd be in surgery 4-6 hours and I had appts. in south Dallas County, so I had to leave.

Good that they were on top of the leak.

Thanks Tom and Marsha for the news.

Sorry that Jim had a rough time; glad it's over, tho. He had us worried.

Jim, all my best wishes; and welcome to the other side of the mountain. Some truck, eh?

thanks for the update, tom!

Talked with Carol (Jim's wife) Wednesday afternoon. She said he was still in ICU. Said his color was good, etc.

I'm flying to Houston Thursday morning, so won't have internet access. Will be calling her to check on his progress.
