Jiddo's dad recoverying

Hi All.

I just want to say thank you for all your prayers as they surely worked today. My dad got out of surgery at about 3:30 PM and is now in ICU. The surgeon reassured our family that he successfully completed the surgery but the next 24-48 hours will be a critical time in his recovery. During surgery, the doc had to patch a hole in my dad's heart, which was unexpected and prolonged the surgery. He also had some bleeding that led him back to the OR but the docs were able to identify the source to stop the bleeding. I would appreciate if you could continue to keep my dad in your prayers for a speedy recovery. Thank you for your encouragement during this time. It has been a source of comfort and release for me.

Lyn, my son is doing well. He is 1 week old today and is keeping me busy....along with my 2 yr old. By the way, I read Justin's story yesterday and it really touched me. I will keep your son and your family in my prayers as he approaches his upcoming surgery.

thanks for letting us know. I wish a speedy recovery. You must be under quite a strain with a baby only a week old and a two year old. Blessins.........
