Jeffrey, I hope you have had a glorious weekend and are at peace with your upcoming surgery on Wed. I know you are relieved with the good cath results and that you will come through the surgery with gold stars as well. Best wishes for a successful surgery and uneventful recovery. Godspeed!

Jeffrey ~ My best wishes and prayers are with you on Wednesday. I hope you have a successful surgery and an uncomplicated recovery. Take care, Dawn-Marie

Thanks.

On Wednesday, my wife Sigrid will be taking me to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. We will arrive at 5 AM for the 6:45 AM operation. My mom will meet Sigrid (and our friend Laura) at the hospital, play "go fish", tell embarrassing stories of when I was a kid, and read 4-year-old magazines while they wait.

I have a real inner peace about this operation. I have prayed with lots of people, and am excited about finally feeling good again.

My family, church, coworkers, and friends have all been great. I'm very grateful.

Jeff

It sounds like you're ready; best wishes, and we'll wait for a post surgery update.

You will do well. Finally getting to meet that surgery date and get on the road to recovery, that is awesome. Everyone says the waiting is the hardest part. Good luck, we are thinking of you!

Best wishes, Jeff. Tomorrow, about this time, ice chips may be about the only thing you will be thinking about -- at least that was true with me. They'll only let you have a few because too many can make you get nauseated and ill. But the next evening should be much, much better. Take care :) .

I'm back home. MOO!

I'm back home. MOO!

I came home last night. Everything went very well. There were absolutely no complications.

For the first time in over 3 years I am not dizzy and don't have a persistent cough! YAY!

THANKS SO MUCH for your prayers and encouragement. I will post more later after I sleep a while.

Jeff
