Welcome Ross to the land of progressive lens. I've had mine for about ten years. Before that I had what they called granny glasses. They sit on the end of my nose when I had to read. Really strange looking. :) :)

Re: Your thread name--

I'm trying to figure out if you were an old foggie before you became an old fogy, or an old fogy before you became an old foggie. Or if your glasses are making you an old foggie or old fogy. :D

I'm glad to see Hensylee's post about cataract surgery. I have them thanks to chemo, I believe, certainly not my age  . They're just starting, but I'm a little foggie already. So, I want new kid eyes too.

Just thought it was funny is all. I had to look up fogy myself :) Both conditions relate to eyeglasses. Now don't get all mad at me. :D

Well now, this looks about right.

Excuse me, Ross and Nancy

Excuse me, Ross and Nancy

The business of how we spell an old fogey has been bothering me. Neither foggie nor fogy mean an "old fart, *excuse me,* I meant an old codger"!

I think that's what Ross was trying to call himself. (Next time call your thread, It's Official: I'm an old codger now). :p :p :p

Fogy does mean cloudiness, but I don't think that was the word Ross was aiming for. He wants to label himself an "old fogey". So be it!

Ross, it's official! You're an old fogey! :D :D :D

And by the way, I'm about to turn my post numbers over to 1500. I guess I get a triple decker????? ;) ;) ;) ;)
