It is time to ask ...

I am currently training for the 'Royal Victoria Marathon' which will be October 12, in Victoria, Canada. I have teamed up with 'World Vision' a humanitarian organization, to raise money for children, widows and orphans, directly affected by the HIV epidemic sweeping Africa.
The problem is so out of control, World Vision chose one country to try to make a difference; Zambia, Africa. It is estimated that 21.5 percent of the adult population has HIV/Aids. In Zambia, their are now over 650,000 children whom have lost their parents due to this devastating disease.
So what am I asking ??? For you to sponsor me! The marathon is 26.2 miles, so if you sponsor me for $1.00 per mile, that would be $26.20. The amount per mile is your choice. All I'll need is your home address and I'll send you an envelope and information. Please send it through a Private Message, or too [email protected]

Let me know if you're interested in doing so. So far over $1,000.00 have been pledged, and we're just getting started.

I just wanted to say to each and everyone of you whom have pledged support for '2nd Chance. A Run for Hope,' thank you so very, very much. This is taking off so fast, that I have had to ask 'World Vision' to help with the mailings. As time permits, I'll make every effort to respond to each of you.
