I would like to wish you the best as you wait through the week-end for your replacement on Tuesday. I know that you are well prepared and motivated to get this behind you, so I am sure the surgery will be uneventful, and you'll soon be recovering with a new on-x valve. That's exciting!

And on another note, I hope you are planning to attend the reunion in February. Just think, you could relate your experience (and show your scar ) up close and personal!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. You guys and gals are a great group to be associated with.

I've been so busy at work these past few weeks I have not had too much time to think about it; ......or I should say dwell on it. But it's starting to set in now. I'm looking forward to getting it over with and starting the second half of my life.

I'll post a status once I get back home.

... and yours. I'm now 8-days post op and the feeling is great. I think the best feeling though was when I woke up after the surgery, right before the breathing tube was to come out, and saw my lovely wife smiling at me.
