InRatio 2 strip rrecall - important

I just went to http://www.medsupplier.com/alere-hem...s-99008G2.aspx and ordered 12 strips. I just clicked the button that says I'm a doctor or health care provider. I'll keep everybody posted on how it works. I'm betting they don't check anything and just end me the strips.

Well it was worth a try but here's what they sent me when I tried to order strips:

Thank you for your order! Alere Corporation is on a Nation Wide backorder with all professional grade test strips due to the FDA recall. The manufacturer has asked distributors, like us, to start selling the strips that you have purchased. At this time, the manufacturer has had difficulty keeping up with demand. They have indicated a 1 month to 1.5 month back order. We are more than willing to keep your order in cue and will be shipping in the order they are received.

So I have a friend who is a doctor that can order them for me. I just need to find a place that actually has the strips.
