Yes, I agree with the others. You should not have to wait 4 days for results. I am very glad that my Cardio calls me before my 5pm coumadin dosage the same day I have my INR labs done. I have also called the hospital to get the results and they will tell me. But most of the time my home health nurse calls me and then the Dr calls to tell me if I need more or less. As you know I just had surgery April 15(my other post, cancer surgery) and my INR yesterday was at 1.6. This really scares me. They have me on 6mgs till monday and I will be rechecked. I had to take Cipro again due to infection. This at times is very annoying. I have been having alot of pain in the calf of my leg and I am watching for Blood clots. Because I have had them before. I will let you know my next results. I am really hoping I can convince my Dr to let me get a home testing machine. But I am working on it. Take care.

I am a couple of days late, but here is the INR update. It was 2.0. But will be tested in two weeks. At least better, but too low. I will be better soon on this INR. I hope by July anyway. Going to Oklahoma in July, Lake of the Cherokee. That is where my brother took our mother's ashes last year. And so I can get out of the city for a few days. All take care.
