Hey guys, I might be offline for a few days because we just moved into our house. I am online now because my good friend Brian brought over his laptop. He says "hi" I will try to get online every couple of days, until we have internet.

Your a brave woman! How do you survive without the internet? I'd be having all sorts of kittens by now. :D

Happy moving

Happy moving

Good luck with your moving Joy - hope you can find your socks ! Ross, your memory is going bad- you've already had your kittens. Chris

Hi Joy

What a thrill-----you'll love your new house!!!! I'm so glad for you. Wow, think back a year when Kev was away and you were all by yourself---I'm so happy for you to finally be moving in !!!

You'll be VERRRRRY busy over the next few months, but it definitely is a labor of love. Remember, though, now that you have a house you're NEVER done with things....it seems like one project after the next. We've been in this house 28 years and are still changing and rechanging things.

Again, mucho congrats!!!

Ev

Congratulations, Joy on moving in. Bet you are tired by now but you will all sleep better tonight - even the babies. We miss you but know you are only a short step away. God bless

Kittens, Ross? More? By golly.

wow guys thanks for the congrats! Brian has been helping me put everything together and watched the kids for a while as well. I went outside last night and I was just thinking that I couldn't believe that I am actually a homeowner now! Kevin and Brian went to our old apartment and got more stuff cleaned up there. Well, I better finish unpacking my stuff so I can actually find my socks!

oh boy Joy

GREAT! Will miss your input. good luck. I'm sure you've got us all smilin at this good time in your lives. I lift my glass and wish you well in your new abode.
:D

Congratulations Joy

Pride of ownership

Pride of ownership

Hi Joy,

Congratulations to you and your family.

Home ownership is a fun challenge. We are on our 3rd new home in 10 years time. Seems we decorate and landscape for the "next buyer". I have a fresh pallet just waiting outside my door this spring:D. No doubt it will be busy time.

All the best to you :)

PS. Ross, thinking back when we made the state to state transfer last year. Beleive I was offline for close to 2 weeks! Like Joy said, soxs are are priority;). Though in my case.....had too much junk to unpack.

Hey guys, looks like Brian will be staying the night again so I have his laptop again. It's nice, free use of a nice computer! We are working towards getting all our stuff unpacked, just had to get most of it here. Now I have to put it all away! Never knew how much JUNK a person acquires in 4 1/2 years! Anyways, thank you for the well wishes, and I will try to get online again tomorrow, alright? It's been a long day and I am going to go to sleep.

Welcome to your new home!

Welcome to your new home!

Joy - What a Joy (pun intended) it must be to be a first-time home owner. We are only on our second home (been in this one almost 22 years) and it continues to be a source of pride and comfort to the family. My daughter (17 y/o) hasn't ever lived anywhere else. The stability really makes a difference for the young ones, and doesn't hurt the rest of us either!

Welcome and enjoy!

re: moving

Hi Joy!
While you are unpacking I am packing. We hope to be moving in about a month. We have sold this house and give up occupancy on June 1st unless they give us an extention. Even though it is a lot of work I have always enjoyed moving and nest building once we're in the house. How far did you move? Take care of yourself and don't overdo too too much. Betty

Congratulations Joy. Close your eyes and pretend I just brought over taco fixings, salad and cokes and a big chocolate cheese cake for a house warming!

hi joy!
congrats!!! aren't you glad that the move is over and that now you just have to unpack it all?
just like steve, this is our second home and we have been here for 19 years this may.
our girls have never lived anywhere else. anytime we've mentioned moving, they protest.

betty,
i feel for you. i remember moving as a very stressful day. i'm sure it didn't help that i was very pregnant at the time, but
it was a tiring experience (and we only moved about 3 miles away!!). thank god for parents and family!!!!
wishing you an easy move.
all the best, sylvia
