Good to hear your incision is looking so good.
Funny.....both times when I left Mass General after surgery, the nurses told me to not cover the drainage tube cuts. I had three the first time and four drain tubes my second surgery. I can barely see them now, coming up to one year later.

Jk they told me not to cover them too, but being a nurse I just have to take care of them. there is a small amount of drainage which I do not like seeing on my clothes so that is the main reason I cover it.
