I'm home guys. Wanted to say thanks for all of the support. It means a great deal when it's your turn. Had surgery on Tuesday the 22nd and came home on Monday the 28th. Had a couple of bumps in the road. Chest tube stayed in two extra days and I had a couple of bouts of PVCs. So tired but doing what I'm suppose to be doing. Talk to you again soon and thanks again for everything. Earline[/QUOTEmy surgery was the same date as yours. had some bumps with the INR levels also. glad you're ok.

Dear Earline, I had my surgery 2 days after you and came home on monday also. I bet we feel alot the same right now TIRED! I don't have hardly any pain, I did'nt take any pain meds. yesterday or today , except at night, and i do feel good, except very tired just want to sleep or lay in the recliner. Let me know how your feeling since we came home the same day. Take care Debbie :)

I'm with you. Very tired. Today I'm a bit stronger but still tired. No pain meds other than tylenol. I had them filled but never took any. I walk in my house, sleep. eat, read, watch TV. I;m able to sleep in my bed with a wedge pillow and two more regular pillows. Husband gets up with me twice a night to use the bathroom. I can get up alone but am afraid to fall during the night. I had some PVC in the hospital so I'm on betapace for now. Blood pressure tends to run a little low with that. All in all I'm doing well.
It's (OHS) not for wimps.:(

Glad you are home and doing good. We'll continue to pray for you and Witzkeyman, hope you both will continue to do great. You are right OHS is NOT for wimps, although it can leave you feeling like one. Lots of love and luck to you both.
