I'm Back ! !

I got home around 2:00 this afternoon. I came through the surgery great and the doctor was so amazed that I was already walking really well. I walked with a walker for a couple of days and today I graduated to my cane. There is pain from the surgery itself but not that continuing pain that I had before. The doctor said that my knee was so bad he wondered how in the world that I had been walking in the first place.

I am wiped out right now. The pain medicine makes me sweat really bad and makes me so sleepy.

Thanks everyone once again for your prayers. You guys are great! !

Hooray, Glenda! I'm so happy to hear from you- just posted another thread trying to track you down. You are truly amazing and I am sure your determination will get you through recovery with flying colors. Rest up and take care.
