I got home around 2:00 this afternoon. I came through the surgery great and the doctor was so amazed that I was already walking really well. I walked with a walker for a couple of days and today I graduated to my cane. There is pain from the surgery itself but not that continuing pain that I had before. The doctor said that my knee was so bad he wondered how in the world that I had been walking in the first place.

I am wiped out right now. The pain medicine makes me sweat really bad and makes me so sleepy.

Thanks everyone once again for your prayers. You guys are great! !

Glenda, down to a cane ALREADY! That is such wonderful news! I'm so happy that you got over that "bug" so you were able to get on with this surgery. Another reason for praise and rejoicing!!

Yay Glenda!!

You must be so relieved to have this over with, and now an extra bonus of how well you're doing!!! I imagine you'll be jogging a month from now.

Take it easy and enjoy the glow of a job well done!
