Whew...finally made it back to the 21st century! Our modem was hit by lightning on 9/21 at the old house and I haven't been online since. However, we didn't want to replace it since we were moving soon anyway and now have DSL, and they provided us with an external modem for that.

Anyway, we're all moved in, (still have a few misc. boxes to unpack), and they were finally able to get our phone and internet up and running today, it was only a couple of weeks...but it felt like forever!

I'll attach a picture of the front of our new house...just in case any of you are ever in the area and want to drop in, you'll know what my house looks like :) .

I really like my new house, now we just have to figure out how the heck we're going to make the house payments

Welcome back to the communication age, and wishing you much health and happiness in your new house.

Jeannie,
It looks like a nice place. Is that a covered screened in porch on the back side? If so, those come in handy when the mosquitos are biting. ;)
Wishing you much happiness in your new place. :)

Welcome back Jeannie! I eventually want to get into my own home as well, but alas, no such luck as of yet....Here's hoping all the best for you and yours in your new home!! Harrybaby--located in "I am so darned sick of all this rain" New Hampshire...LOL :D :D :D :D :D

Actually, Mary it is a 3 season porch right now. Give Ray a little time and it will soon be a 4 season porch...just need to have some heat in it.

The porch was one of the things we really liked about the house. The kitchen/dining area is not real big, but we figured we could spread out into the porch when all the kids come home. Right now, that's where all the boxes of misc stuff are sitting...I'm going through it all little by little.

Thanks for all the well-wishes everyone!
