You shouldn't be lifting anything, or even bending over to pick things up, if at all possible. Anything that makes you strain can wait until 6-8 weeks after the surgery. Because someone was bound to top 100 mmHg doesn't take the slightest away from the seriousness of your current gradients. You need to respect those stratospheric numbers by caring for yourself until you can get those pressures relieved.
...And I didn't mean that you aren't special. How about being special for perfect recovery from surgery instead, though? Wouldn't that be more fun, overall?
