I Have Turned Into My Father!!!!

OMG!!! I am turning into my father I looked in the mirror one day and there he was..... As I walked a client out to her car recently (young lady around 25)I grabbed my straw hat (very fashionable ) she said "my Dad wears a hat too" ego deflation at 12:00, no need to suck in the old gut now My snug fitting jeans have changed into khaki's, I try not to go in the hot sun without my hat, I have the same zipper on my chest as he did and I look at some of the young kids and say "what the hell are they thinking" or "that's not music" or "in my day" Holy Poop!!!! I have gotten old........and that is how I am feeling tonight.....

I guess it was inevitable..............

The other day I was at a restaurant and (Thinking of one of my "older friends") asked at what age their senior discount applied.

His answer---Don't worry sir, I already applied the discount to your bill.

I know what you mean Dennis. I thought about not questioning the check out clerks when they give me too much change, it is usually the Sr. discount but I would not want the clerk to have to make up for a mistake even if it was theirs.....

My Father-in-Law refers to the discount as "getting a Senior" when it applies to anything.

At McDonald's "getting a Senior" means a cup of coffee (discounted of course).

And becoming our parents.... i'm about 1/2 way to being a full clone of my Mom.

On a more serious side of the "looking like my father" thought, whenever I look in a mirror and think I see my father, I remind myself that I could do much, much worse than to look like a man whom I loved and respected. I'm proud to look like my dad. . .
