I enjoy reading and saving quotes of inspiration. Before and after my heart surgery, I drew peace and courage from Psalm 34:4 Of course my own personal favorite, you are all tired of seeing is, "Quitting is not an option."

Run and Smell the Roses
Too many times, we march zombielike through our daily runs. We follow the same path, go in the same direction, or run at the same pace every day. Try to set aside runs in which you make a conscious effort to interact with your environment. Identify trees, watch children playing in the park, or marvel at the beautiful colors of the sunset or sunrise. Some people design their gardens based on all the samples they get to see while out on their runs. Once you reach out to the many experiences available to you, you never know where your runs might take you.
