Sorry to hear of your troubles! I was in hospital 11 days, and thought THAT was a long time. I hated....HATED the liquid version of Potassium but I guess it works. I take 20 MEQ pills now, myself....and have ever since the OHS in 2006. I just break them in half, put one half at a time in my mouth & drink a little taste of water. Let the 1/2 of a pill dissolve, and sure it's a little gritty but generally it just goes right down. Do the same with the other half. I can't imagine this is any different than putting it in pudding or something. Best of luck to you, and sorry to hear about the jobs. I hope the loss of jobs isn't a result of your illnesses. Your husband had a right to be by your side while you were going through OHS. My friend Mr. FMLA says so
