Thanks everyone for your prayers and concerns.
I just got back from a long day of tests. Had a nuclear stress test and a TEE and everything came back OK with my heart. They think it might be something going on with my stomach. Have to see them in 2 weeks.
Thanks again for caring.

I've been worrying about you.

I've been worrying about you.

I'm sure glad to hear everything is okay with your heart.

So glad to hear

So glad to hear

that your heart is fine, Dave!! Knew it would be! :)

I was just diagnosed with a hiatal hernia and I feel a pressure sensation right at the bottom of my breast bone - where the stomach pushes up into my esophagus, i.e. the hiatal hernia. Is that maybe the sensation that you are feeling?

I'm sure they will be testing you for such a thing and from what I have read and heard on VR.com threads and the internet, hiatal hernias and GERD are common after heart surgery. I still don't understand the reasoning, but it is like haven't we all been through enough already??!!

Just glad to hear they put you through all the proper testing and you are A-OK in the heart department.

Hey Christina L,
My cardiologist is Dr. Downes he is in with Dr. Luckasen and the Heart Center of the Rockies.

Dave, I will keep checking the board today, worrying about you. Who, again, is your cardio in Fort Collins? Bet he tells you to push fluids and stay out of the sun!!! :)

I have never seen Dr. Downes or

I have never seen Dr. Downes or

Dr. Luckason but have heard of them. I see Dr. Larson primarily in Heart Center of the Rockies (he and Luckason started the clinic) and I have also seen Dr. Cullinane and Dr. Green.

They have quite the big fancy facility there in Fort Collins, huh?

Glad to hear the ticker is doing okay. Something with the stomach was my thought too, knowing that acid reflux can mimic a heart attack.

So glad it's not your heart, Dave.....Hope everything works out in the stomach area. I'm sure you were relieved, though.

It is nice to hear your heart is doing well but I sure wish you were feeling better. I will keep you in my prayers that you will soon feel better again.

That's very good news!

That's very good news!

Dave. I'm sure you are relieved! If it is a stomach problem, then your stomach is probably somewhat relieved, too, since stress (worry) can really upset things. Pay attention to what you're eating and how you're eating. Sometimes an eating habit change can really help things along.

I often wonder what all those surgery meds do to valvers. That's a lot for one body to go through. My sensitive tummy isn't looking forward to all those meds!

Thanks for letting us know. Hope you continue to feel better.
