I have an appointment tomorrow morning. I haven't been feeling very well the last couple of weeks, having some SOB and pressure in my chest, been very tired after work. I thought it was just the heat but it doesn't go away. I am hoping it is nothing but need to get it checked out.
I will let you know what I find out.
Take Care

Dave - It could very well be the heat, but I like your idea to make sure you are OK. I hope everything works out and it ends up being your imagination. We need to keep our Sterling to Sterling connection healthy.

Dave,

Dave,

Please let us know ASAP what the doctor says. It has been beastly hot here in Colorado, especially on the plains, but we even in the mountains have suffered from the heat. I noticed that my heart was pounding very hard yesterday while at a festival in Lyons - I then upped my water intake and felt much better - heat can really affect us, heart problems or no. :(

Please take care -

Christina L.

Good luck with your appointment Dave - hope it turns out to be nothing!!

I'm so sorry to hear that you haven't been feeling well. I hope it's something that's easy to take care of. I'll be thinking of you. Please let us know what happens.

Best wishes, Dave

Dave,
sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well - hope it turns out to be the heat, or at least something that's easily dealt with. Will be thinking of you,
Gemma.

Dave, I hope your problem is heat related. My husband came in a few weeks ago from cutting grass and said he felt like he couldn't breathe very well. It was 98 and humid here. After resting and cooling off he was okay. Please let us know how what this truns out to be. We will be thinking of you.

good luck.

good luck.

Dave. Glad you decided to get it checked out. Hope it is just the heat. I'm at moderate AS, waiting, and am finding the hot weather is just not agreeing with me. It really intensifies all of my symptoms. I'm actually relieved to hear Steve (epstns) mention his reaction. And this is a doozie of a summer in most parts!

Please take care and let us know!

Marguerite

Hi Dave!
I think it is a good idea to get it checked out. It may be the heat causing your symptoms but it is better to be safe than sorry. I pray that everything turns out just fine. Please let us know as soon as you can how things went. You know how we all worry.

Take Care!
Gail

Whoa, Dave - don't like hearing this. Glad you were able to get in so soon. Here's hoping it's just summer doldrums. Be thinking of you and wishing you well.

Pam,

Pam,

Yes, we were at Rocky Grass (I am a huge bluegrass fan and have gotten Wayne liking that genre of music also). The festival was fantastic - we got there around noon and stayed until Alison Krauss closed out the festival.

BUT man was it blistering hot!! Like I said before, my heart was pounding - not fast, but hard!! I started to just chug down the fluids - water - and they were selling fresh-squeezed lemonade/limeade - had two big glasses of that plus several bottles of water. Once I was hydrated adequately and went over by the river to put our feet in to cool off, I felt so much better. However, I really took it easy and made sure to take shade breaks as soon as I started to feel woozy.

I can almost bet that Dave's problem is the heat - and I guess I certainly hope that is all it is.

Before my heart surgery, I don't remember the heat affecting me like this. Here in Colorado, that old sun just beats down on you - no, we don't have the humidity, but we are closer in altitude to the sun and it is fierce! :(

Pam,

Pam,

I didn't know about the 36 road work until had to go to Louisville to get my yearly mammo the other day. Wayne has been complaining about the road resurfacing work being done on 34 - trying to get to and from his job in Greeley a few weeks ago was kind of rough for him.

Sounds like Mike got a regular "baptizing" on Sunday. :) That river was SO refreshing.

Dave, I will keep checking the board today, worrying about you. Who, again, is your cardio in Fort Collins? Bet he tells you to push fluids and stay out of the sun!!! :)
