How Hot Is WE??

My upstairs air conditioner is on right now (11:30 p.m.!) trying to cool the house to 80. It rained a little earlier in the evening though so we are having a cool front for the next few days - only predicted to be 95-96 (without the heat index of course). I am teaching summer school and we were studying weather last week. Our thermometers were reading 98-102 at about 2:00 in the afternoon. I'm sure the humidity is the typical 150%. Recess is unbearable. It was nice at the beach last weekend though.

ITs 92 in my part of Georgia right now. I am at work and the grandkids just called to tell me how good the pool feels at my house right now. Got to love them. We are expecting a cool front tomorrow. We are leaving for the Tennessee Mountains for vacation Sunday. I hope its cooler there. Its the yearly family trip, 9 adults and at least 5 kids,probably more. One large cabina and lots of Margaritas for MAWMAW.

Okay, maybe not that hot, but we did hit our first official 100 today........came along with a red ozone alert! Katie ditched her clothes around noon. Came running in, giggling, and squealing that she was "goin' butt nekkid." Stayed that way most of the day, too..............ahhh! to be four again with no inhibitions whatsoever!
