Ok, I'll start the cheering section for us Michiganders...our Wings fizzled out on us and I've been holding my breath for the Pistons. Now they're in the conference finals playing the Indiana Pacers.

There is a lot of history between these two teams ... coaches, players and I usually am a Pacer fan if they aren't playing the Pistons. Both teams have beaten each other in the regular season; so it might be a tough series.

Go Pistons

Go Pistons

Jean,
That was an amazing comeback by our Pistons. :D
A lot of people had given up on them.
Now we will find out how good they really are when they go up against Rick Carlisle and the Pacers.
Wonder if we will ever really hear what happened with Rick Carlisle.

Sorry, Jean, it's Pacers all the way in this house. We lived in Indy in the mid-nineties during Reggie's superstardom (12 pts in 19 seconds) and the choking thing with Spike Lee. It should prove an interesting series :) :)

Maybe they should just let Larry Bird and Isiah Thomas play a game of 21 to decide it. :D

Well, dang! This wasn't such a good start was it...maybe tonight at the Palace.

FYRFYTR, I love your graphics.

Actually it was a pretty good start, they just didn't finish.

By the way, they are still in Indy tonight, then 2 at the Palace.

Rasheed Wallace guaranteed a win tonight, I hope that doesn't come back to haunt us!

Whew! Rasheed delivered, hey Steve! I know what you mean though. When he opened his mouth, I thought "What a jinx!" But ok, they came through. Onward to the Palace for sure this time!

No bragging yet though. I'd say this is going to be a close battle all the way no matter which team wins. What does this do to one's blood pressure ... mine not theirs?

Marge, you have my sympathies. Ditto here with the Wings. Luckily we could switch over to the Pistons to salve our wounded souls. :D

Hey Jean,
That block by Mr. Prince was spectacular!!
Did you see the look on that guys face?
He just couldn't beleive somebody caught him and blocked that shot.

The continuing saga: a second win for Detroit!

You know though, whoever wins is going to be exhausted for the next round!

Detroit 2-1 of hard fought battles.

Have decided that I would go bonkers playing with that plastic mask Rick Hamilton wears.

Yessss! But man it was ugly wasn't it. I don't like this defensive game. I'm a run and shoot, bang it out type play fan.

Ok now the finals ... I don't have a clue. Lakers are awesome. Detroit has split two games with them during the season, and that was before Wallace, but who knows ! We shall wait and see.

I think it is hilarious that LA will have a whole week in Detroit for games 3-5. I hope it snows!

On with the games! :D

Okay, I hate to burst everyone's bubble ... the Pistons could not even score 70 pts last night! My prediction (and the 'guru' here from Port Orchard, Washington is never wrong!!!) will be out in 4 games against the Lakers. This series will look like the Harlem Globetrotters playing your local police department. You know what I will be doing .... :D :p and :D some more!

Congratulations, Pistons fans. It was a dark evening in our family room last night. Three boys (2 sons and a husband) screaming, cursing, and crying. I just had to leave the room and curl up with my latest DVD purchase (Sex in the City - Season 6). Good luck in the finals.

Not so fast!

Not so fast!

Wait a minute Mark. I know it was ugly, ugly, but that is how Detroit grinds out.

The Pistons played the Lakers twice in the regular season and split 1 for 1.

I hope we win, but I am realistic. There can be no lapses this time.

Ok, I'll stick my neck out...Pistons in 6! What the heck!
