Gettin' the heck out of Dodge!
Gettin' the heck out of Dodge!
Well, friends, my hubby & I are sitting in Hobby right now waiting for our flight back home, yeah!!!!
Had my Echo this morning & met w/Dr. Cooley this afternoon. Although my Echo numbers are not good, they are not the worse. Dr. Cooley said that any other surgeon would probably be looking wanting to do surgery based on the gradient pressures & other stats but he on the other hand, looks at the whole picture especially since I've been there 3 times already.
I told Dr. Cooley that I felt that it had actually taken me over a year & a half to get over my 3rd OHS & that I was feeling great. He said that I should just continue to do whatever it is I'm doing because obviously it is working & just go on with life as is. He also said, "you know where to find us if you need us & surgery has not been ruled out if you need to have it but I also don't think you need to go thru that considering the way you're feeling".
So with that said, we hugged one another & bade farewell. We took some pictures with Dr. Cooley & his assistant but I cannot post them right now because I forgot the cable from my camera to the PC to download them so I'll post them tomorrow when we're home.
So NM here we come & life will go on as it has been. My babies (Petrie & Molly) are anxiously awaiting us & I will be adopting another friend for Petrie to help ease his & my aching for Bridgette.
Thank you all for your prayers, thoughts & concern. Love ya!
