I am so sorry to hear that you will be needing another surgery so soon. I can empathize totally with you as I may be in the waiting room soon, as my mitral valve repair is slightly stenotic. Only time will tell.
I do agree with your doctor saying that your heart is stronger (and wiser!) now.
I think you will find that the second surgery is much easier than the first. However, I truly feel for you in what you are facing - just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Godspeed. And keep us all posted.
