Hello My Friends,
My home page is up and running again. From here out I will begin to start picking up my milage again. This week I will run 17.5 miles.
Anyone interested in sponsoring me on a per mileage basis for the marathon I will be running in October; '2nd Chance. A Run for Hope.' ... can find the information on page two of my home page. Thank you all very much for your encouragement, support, and prayers.
I also thought you might want to know, I had a minor setback, as I had a muscle siezure in my back and chest area on Friday. Quite frankly, I think I just over did it. I played 18 holes of golf, (which for me is like playing 36 holes of golf the way I play ) and then I ran 4 miles shortly after. Anyway I went to work and collapased. I have to admit, the nitro they gave me in the ambulance was a pretty good high! At this point thier quite certain it was not heart related. This is my 5th or 6th siezure since my heart surgery. Though I am not an epileptic, I take nuerontin to hopefully keep them under control. They just cannot pin point what causes them. It is truly the most painful thing I have ever faced as they last for around 20 minutes. Oh well.
I think I just need to realize I'm not 18 anymore, and need more than 5 hours a sleep at night. On the serious side, it was a wake up call.
... Mark
PS Please feel free to pass my page on to any friends who may wish to help in this cause. Thank you.
